Mitten with a color worked cuff, to keep your wrists warm and a mitten that is a bit on the thinner side in order to give a good grip when skiing or doing other winter sports. The Latvian braids may signify the country colors of your choice, or simply be your favorite color in general. The moss stitch in the mitten gives a tree bark texture, which also provides an added grip when playing in the snow.
